I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology and an unofficial Psychology minor at Brandeis University. I also graduated from Suffolk Law School. I worked as a lawyer and a legal assistant after graduation. In addition to working, I tutored general academics (mainly Math) and the SAT for ten years. I have since changed careers and am now a teacher. I am licensed for middle school General Science and Math. Science and Math have always been my favorite subjects, especially Chemistry and Biology. I find enjoyment in taking different approaches to solving Math problems, and over the years I have been able to find methods to help all my students reach success in Math. Students with learning disabilities were often placed into my classroom because I was capable of effectively teaching them. I believe when the learning process is engaging and fun that students learn better. They also become excited to learn the subject. During my free time, I am an avid reader, active with my synagogue, and enjoy spending time with my children.
