My high school years were spent in Italy in Southern Calabria. I studied tourism and foreign languages. I not only studied English, Spanish, and French, but also Italian, Latin, Greek, and German. I traveled to North Carolina to attend college, choosing to major in business administration. I concentrated on marketing and managing, and selected two minors, one in finance and one in German.I worked for a year as a stock trader before returning to school in New York to obtain a degree in fashion. I earned a master's for marketing and merchandising. With several degrees, I have the knowledge and ability to tutor students in many subjects. I tutored in high school and again in college, and enjoyed helping others. I now tutor professionally, and have even worked with business officials who were planning foreign trips and needed to learn the language of the country.My love of language makes me an excellent language tutor. I primarily tutor German, English, and Spanish, but have taught Italian as well. I strive to get students interested in learning the language, and not just memorizing the words so they may pass a test.When I'm not tutoring, I am working in the fashion industry. I act as a merchandiser for an off-price retailer. I enjoy shopping, and also like to cook, particularly dishes from other countries like France and Greece.
